We are seeking a highly accomplished Investment Banking Managing Director to lead client relationships, originate new business, and oversee the successful execution of complex transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in M&A, capital raising, restructuring, and strategic advisory, with the ability to drive revenue growth and represent the firm at the highest level.
Responsibilities
- Originate and win new investment banking mandates across M&A, capital markets, restructuring, and advisory services.
- Build and maintain senior client relationships with corporates, sponsors, founders, and institutional investors.
- Lead pitch development, business development efforts, and client presentations.
- Oversee the full transaction lifecycle from initial discussion through execution and closing.
- Coordinate deal teams, including analysts, associates, and vice presidents, to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Review and guide financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- Negotiate key terms and support client strategy throughout the deal process.
- Monitor market trends, industry activity, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk standards.
- Represent the firm in external meetings, conferences, and senior-level business development discussions.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related advisory roles.
- Deep knowledge of M&A, capital raising, financing, restructuring, and valuation.
- Excellent client relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership experience managing deal teams and mentoring junior bankers.
- Advanced financial acumen and commercial judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a top-tier investment bank or advisory firm.
- Track record across multiple sectors or products, such as M&A, ECM, DCM, and private capital raising.
- Strong professional network and credibility with senior executives and investors.
- Experience working on cross-border or complex strategic transactions.
Pay: QAR180.00 - QAR400.00 per hour
