We are seeking an experienced Investment Executive (Mechanical) to lead and manage our investment projects within the cement industry. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management capability, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project execution. The position will report to Domestic Investment Manager and will be based at ÇİMSA’s Mersin Plant.
As Investment Executive (Mechanical) at Çimsa Mersin Plant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading investment projects by planning, scheduling, and managing all phases to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Managing multiple concurrent projects and prioritizing activities effectively in line with business needs.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and operational alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying project risks proactively, evaluating potential impacts, and implementing effective mitigation plans.
- Ensuring adherence to project timelines, approved budgets, safety regulations, and engineering/quality standards.
- Applying analytical and critical-thinking skills to assess technical feasibility, resource needs, and financial implications of project decisions.
- Preparing clear, structured project progress reports and presenting updates to management and stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement by integrating lessons learned and best practices into future project planning.
- Applying strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve operational and technical challenges encountered during project implementation.
- Maintaining a proactive, results-oriented approach focused on achieving project milestones and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Monitoring project progress, prepare reports, and manage schedules using MS Project. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents using AutoCAD. Prepare project budgets, progress presentations, and dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Preparing and develop technical specifications, scopes of work, and related tender documents for mechanical packages.
- Reviewing and verifying contractor mechanical work progress payment reports and claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Ensuring that all mechanical works are performed in accordance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Integrating Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements into project planning and execution processes; ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company procedures, and site safety rules, contributing to risk assessments, and monitoring the continuity of a safe working environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the cement industry—investment, maintenance, or project management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial project processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and capable of managing mechanical work packages across multiple project locations (mobility required).
- Proactive, Action oriented, resilient, collaborative and demonstrating strong accountability.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Taking a broad view when approaching issues using a global lens.
