Salary from £170,000 - £220,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits (Tax Free)
This major UK and international law firm has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join their thriving and market leading UAE Private Funds practice in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Their team advise a stellar list of major sponsors and institutional investors, incl. private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions and corporates, on big-ticket fund establishments and major investments into funds (including conventional and Shari a compliant structures). Their work often entails utilising funds in novel ways to diversify MENA region economies and create new opportunities, with fund types covering private equity, infrastructure, venture capital, real estate and technology; and domiciles spanning regional (DIFC, ADGM, UAE, Bahrain and Saudi), international and offshore (Cayman, Luxembourg, Channel Islands and Delaware). The scope of this top-level role will accordingly focus on the key areas of: (i) fund structuring and formation; (ii) investments into funds; and (ii) joint venture/co-sponsored/ fund-of-one bespoke structures. The team are especially seeking an experienced individual who has strong knowledge of the ins and outs of limited partnership agreements, coupled with market knowledge of key negotiating points on major fund investments; ideally with experience of working with a range of different fund types and domiciles.
