Role Overview
We are hiring an Investment & Project Finance Analyst with strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and research skills. The ideal candidate can build investment theses, support RFPs, prepare financing structures, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
You will support projects across Power, Data Centers, Renewables, and Energy Storage in the US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Asia-Pacific.
This role requires structured thinking, excellent writing skills, and the ability to turn complex information into clear deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Build project finance models (cash flows, DSCR, IRR, NPV, sensitivities).
- Support funding strategies for renewables, batteries, data centers, and hybrid assets.
- Prepare investment memorandums and lead financial due diligence.
- Conduct tariff, policy, and regulatory analysis.
Research & Market Intelligence
- Build market theses on Power, Data Centers, Renewables, and Energy Storage.
- Compile investor, EPC, OEM, and developer databases.
- Track capex/opex benchmarks and competitor pricing.
- Analyze interconnection queues, PPA trends, and incentives.
RFP Support & Proposal Development
- Assist with technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare capability decks, SOWs, MSAs, and compliance documents.
- Manage project documentation, data rooms, and Q&A trackers.
Internal & Client Coordination
- Support BD activities, capability calls, and investor meetings.
- Prepare weekly insights, market reports, and slide decks for leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, finance, and PMO teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong financial modeling (Excel) and analytical skills.
- Experience in project finance, investment analysis, or infrastructure advisory.
- Excellent research and writing ability.
- Knowledge of power markets, renewables, data centers, or energy storage is a plus.
- Ability to structure reports, proposals, and memos clearly.
- Experience with RFPs, SOWs, or consulting deliverables is an advantage.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, globally distributed teams.
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy, or related fields.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience (project finance, consulting, energy markets, or investment roles).
- Familiarity with US/Canada energy markets, KSA energy transition, or APAC infrastructure trends is ideal.
