Position Overview

PowerTek Global Inc. is building a new Financial Advisory and Project Finance practice to support infrastructure, renewable energy, data center, and AI-driven power projects across the Middle East, North America, and South Asia.

We are seeking a motivated Investment & Project Finance Analyst (Advisory) to play a key role in building this vertical from the ground up — combining research, modeling, and execution with hands-on involvement in RFPs, client engagements, and service development.

This is a growth-stage role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and wants to shape how PowerTek delivers financial advisory services globally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build the Financial Advisory / Project Finance Arm

  • Define and position service offerings, target clients, pricing, timelines, and T&Cs.
  • Develop marketing and sales assets: pitch decks, CIM/teaser templates, one-pagers, case studies, bios, and proposal libraries.
  • Build and operate the RFP Engine – track opportunities (KSA/US/CA/PK/IFIs), maintain bid calendar, and prepare technical and commercial responses.
  • Support team hiring, onboarding, and training – including FM standards, model checks, sensitivity frameworks, and DSCR/LLCR/sculpting methodologies.
  • Lead financial modeling and execution: develop bankable project finance and M&A models, coordinate diligence, manage data rooms, and support deal closure.
  • Launch new services, lead pilot engagements, collect feedback, and formalize delivery playbooks.

2. Service Development – Data Centers / Renewables / AI / Power

  • Develop market theses on Power, Data Centers, Renewables, and Energy Storage across MENA and North America.
  • Produce research briefs, dashboards, and quarterly outlooks for internal and client use.
  • Design and productize advisory offerings (e.g., site selection, tariff audits, PPA strategy, interconnect/BESS analysis, project finance modeling).
  • Build analytical tools and templates (screeners, term-sheet checklists, pro formas).
  • Pilot services with anchor clients and standardize for repeat delivery.

3. Business Development – MENA & North America

  • Execute go-to-market strategy across Saudi Arabia, North America, Pakistan, and international financing institutions (World Bank, IFC, etc.).
  • Complete vendor registrations, prequalifications, and partner/JV setups.
  • Originate new opportunities and manage relationships with buyers, developers, and financiers.
  • Prepare RFP submissions, proposals, and client presentations; manage orals and follow-ups.
  • Maintain a content pipeline — publish weekly insights and turn pilot wins into public case studies.
  • Keep CRM and BD pipeline current; ensure clean handoff between business development and delivery teams.

4. Internal Operations & Strategy Support

  • Support operational functions for multiple jurisdictions (banking, invoicing, KYC, vendor onboarding, compliance).
  • Help standardize SOWs, MSAs, and document control processes for secure client data management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in project finance, financial advisory, or infrastructure investment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling (Excel-based PF/M&A models, sensitivities, debt sculpting, ratio analysis).
  • Experience with renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors preferred.
  • Familiarity with RFP writing, client proposals, and consulting deliverables.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently across regions and time zones.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data centers, AI infrastructure, or grid-scale renewables.
  • Understanding of project finance documentation (term sheets, financial close, covenants).
  • Knowledge of MENA and North American energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
  • Prior exposure to IFI-funded or PPP transactions is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to build and lead a global project finance advisory function.
  • Exposure to multi-country infrastructure and clean energy projects.
  • Competitive compensation with growth potential.
  • Collaborative, agile, and international work environment.
