Role Overview:

We are hiring a full-time Investment Research Associate to join our in-house research team. The role involves analyzing companies, industries, and markets, with a focus on equity and private investment opportunities. You’ll be supporting investment strategy, valuation, and client presentations through structured research and financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

Market & Company Research

• Conduct detailed research on industries and companies using platforms like NSE, BSE, Screener, Moneycontrol, and public filings
• Analyze investor presentations, earnings reports, and business models

Financial Modeling & Valuation

• Build and maintain financial models including DCF, relative valuation, and financial ratio analysis
• Identify risks and opportunities from a financial and strategic standpoint

Investment Reports & Presentations

• Draft investment memos, sector notes, and financial summaries
• Assist in preparing decks and insights for internal and client-facing presentations

Portfolio Tracking & Market Monitoring

• Track company news, earnings updates, macroeconomic trends, and portfolio performance
• Highlight significant developments impacting investment theses

Due Diligence Support

• Assist in early-stage due diligence through benchmarking, peer comparison, and data collection
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on document preparation and validation

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Bachelor's or Master’s in Finance, Economics, or related field
✔ CFA Level 1 cleared (mandatory) or equivalent (e.g., FRM, NISM Research Analyst)
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
✔ Familiarity with platforms like Screener.in, Tickertape, Yahoo Finance, or Investing.com
✔ Strong understanding of financial statements and basic valuation concepts
✔ Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
✔ Good verbal and written communication skills
✔ Must have own laptop

Employment Terms:
