Job Description:

Position Title: IoT Engineer (Experience: 2–3 Years)

Work Location: Chennai (On-site work at office and client premises only)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirement: Yes – Frequent travel required for project deployments at customer sites, both within India and internationally.

We are looking for a hands-on IoT Engineer to support industrial IIoT domain. The candidate will be responsible for integrating OT and IT layers, designing data pipelines, and deploying robust edge-to-cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-site assessments to understand existing OT-IT infrastructure, identify integration challenges, and troubleshoot industrial protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT)

2. Develop and manage data collection architecture, including hardware and software selection and BoM preparation for scalable and reliable deployments.

3. Implement end-to-end IoT solutions, including configuration, installation, and validation of data collection systems.

4. Work with Python, SQL, and Django for backend development, and manage Linux-based environments.

5. Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP for data ingestion and visualization.

6. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain strong customer relationships for post-deployment success.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience with industrial protocols and control systems.

Proficient in Python, SQL, Django, and Linux.

Experience with AWS/GCP for IoT or data-related services.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
