About the role:
Join our dynamic technology team as an
IoT Network Specialist and play a key role in managing and optimizing our LoRa-based IoT infrastructure. You will ensure seamless connectivity, system reliability, and high network performance across gateways, endpoints, and servers.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and troubleshoot LoRa gateways, endpoints, and servers.

Maintain the LoRa server’s uptime and resolve Linux-based issues.

Generate weekly/monthly performance reports for endpoints and network health.

Automate routine tasks using scripting/programming.
Experience/Qualifications Needed:
Technical Skills:
-
Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with networking concepts and devices (routers, switches, POE).

Basic programming/coding skills (e.g., Linux OS , Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.

Ability to analyze IoT data (e.g., packet loss, signal strength) using tools like SQL, Excel, or Python libraries (Pandas, Matplotlib).

Familiarity with
network protocols
(MQTT, HTTP, UDP) and IoT platforms (e.g., The Things Network).
Educational Background:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Certifications (Preferred):
-
Linux certifications (e.g., Linux+).

Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
Soft Skills:
-
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable reports.

Attention to detail for identifying anomalies in gateway, Endpoints and server logs.

Good communication skills to collaborate with teams and document findings.
Experience: (preferable)

1-2 years in NOC/network monitoring roles, preferably in IoT/telecom environments.

Prior work with LoRa-based projects or any IoT project Related
(gateway setup, server management).
Additional Skills (Preferred):

Database Management: Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with D2c or ODP, or other cloud services.

Security: Basic understanding of Network security practices.
