Thompson Coburn, a large full-service law firm with offices in eight (8) cities across the U.S., is in search of a full-time non-exempt IP Practice Group Specialist to join its St. Louis, Chicago, New York, or Washington D.C. office. This role offers a dynamic blend of specialized administrative support for our Intellectual Property practice area, requiring a keen understanding of Patent practices and procedures, collaboration with legal professionals, and utilization of cutting-edge technologies like Anaqua and IPDAS databases. This position is ideal for candidates with a proactive approach to multitasking and problem-solving and provides an opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading intellectual property practice. The ideal candidate will be working with an exceptional team of IP professionals in an evolving field and environment fostering teamwork and collaboration with the ability to expand knowledge to other areas of IP prosecution, including but not limited to biotech patent work. After an initial period of training, this position is eligible for a hybrid-remote work schedule.

For applicants that meet the experience requirements for the role and are physically based in New York City, NY, the expected salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 annually upon commencement of employment. Starting salary will be determined on an individualized basis with consideration to prior experience and additional qualifications. This is in addition to a comprehensive benefit package offered by the Firm.
