IP Support / Mobile Devices / Imaging – Systems Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused VIP Support / Mobile Devices / Imaging Systems Administrator to provide onsite executive-level IT support at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB). The ideal candidate will possess strong systems administration experience, mobile device management expertise, imaging and deployment capabilities, and exceptional customer service skills supporting high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) personnel.

This role requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment while supporting senior leadership and VIP personnel with urgent and sensitive technical issues.

(This Position is Contingent Upon Award)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide white-glove IT support to VIP and executive-level personnel onsite at LAAFB.
  • Support desktop systems, laptops, mobile devices, printers, conferencing systems, and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform system imaging, deployment, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting for Windows-based environments.
  • Manage and support mobile devices including iPhones, Android devices, tablets, and MDM solutions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, email, VPN, and collaboration tools issues.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and security procedures.
  • Document incidents, service requests, configurations, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Coordinate with enterprise IT teams, cybersecurity personnel, and network operations for issue resolution.
  • Provide rapid response and escalation support for mission-critical outages and executive support requests.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and endpoint security tools.
  • Support conference room technology and executive communications systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with SLA requirements and operational procedures.

VIP Support Requirements

A Very Important Person (VIP) user is defined as any:

  • General Officer or Civilian Equivalent
  • SBD 3 and SSC Front Office support staff
  • Space Systems Delta Commanders and their deputies
  • Program Executive Office (PEO/PED) Directors and their deputies
  • Division Chiefs and their deputies
  • Two-letter Directors

VIP Incident Handling Expectations

  • VIP incidents will always be classified as having a critical impact level.
  • VIP tickets shall never be assigned lower than a Medium Priority level.
  • VIP response activities shall take precedence over standard user incidents and service requests.
  • All VIP incidents and requests must be resolved within four (4) hours whenever possible in accordance with service-level expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Current CompTIA Security+ Certification (SEC+)
  • 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Desktop Support, or Executive/VIP IT Support
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
  • Experience with system imaging and deployment technologies
  • Experience supporting mobile devices and MDM platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite full-time at LAAFB
  • Strong customer service orientation with executive-level professionalism
