IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor to lead and manage rope access operations on site. The role involves planning work at height, supervising teams, and ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with IRATA and site safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage rope access teams on site

Plan rope access activities, including work methods and rescue plans

Ensure all work complies with IRATA guidelines, method statements, and risk assessments

Carry out advanced rigging and oversee complex rope access setups

Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings

Monitor team performance, safety practices, and use of PPE

Act as the main point of contact between site management and rope access crews

Report hazards, incidents, and progress to management

Mentor and guide IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 technicians

Requirements:

Valid IRATA Level 3 certification

Proven experience supervising rope access teams

Strong knowledge of rope access systems, rigging, and rescue techniques

Excellent safety awareness and leadership skills

Physically fit and comfortable working at height

Ability to read, understand, and implement method statements and risk assessments

Relevant trade background (inspection, mechanical, electrical, welding, painting, etc.) is an advantage

Valid medical certificate.

Pay: ﷼2,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
