Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency and landscape health
• Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
• Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and turf areas to ensure aesthetic appeal and vitality
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators safely and effectively for landscaping projects
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including pruning, mulching, aeration, and soil preparation
• Assist with construction projects related to landscape installation or upgrades using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Follow safety protocols during all tasks to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation components and landscape equipment
• Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance
• Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators for various landscaping tasks
• Familiarity with horticulture principles to promote healthy plant growth and landscape design
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and work from blueprints or project plans
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
