Irrigation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Review landscape and irrigation technical design packages and provide detailed technical comments and recommendations.
• Evaluate engineering submittals, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical calculations.
• Prepare technical reports, manuals, and guidelines addressing specific landscape and irrigation issues as requested by the client.
• Support the Construction Supervision team and act as the PMC representative for landscape and irrigation works.
• Coordinate closely with Landscape Design Consultants, Contractors, and Subcontractors to ensure alignment with approved designs and project requirements.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical engineers, architects, and draftsmen to resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Attend weekly and monthly progress and coordination meetings to address landscape- and irrigation-related matters.
• Coordinate with clients and key stakeholders to ensure smooth testing, commissioning, and handover of landscape assets.
• Provide landscape-related inputs for weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Ensure timely review, approval, and proper documentation of submittals, inspection reports, material approvals, and work completion certificates.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and assist the Project Manager in issuing instructions related to landscape, irrigation, and associated works.
• Verify, measure, and certify completed works; maintain accurate progress records; and report performance against the approved project schedule.
• Review, verify, and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of as-built drawings for all landscape and irrigation systems.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM), Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and other local government entities.
• UAE Driving License
