Job Role:

  • To plan, design, and manage irrigation systems for landscapes, ensuring optimal water usage and plant health.
  • Work collaboratively with landscape architects, contractors, and clients to align irrigation plans with the overall landscape design.
  • Ensure that the irrigation systems comply with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning:
  • Develop efficient irrigation layouts based on site conditions, including soil type, climate, topography, and plant requirements.
  • Use software like AutoCAD, GIS, or other irrigation-specific tools for system design.
  • Calculate water requirements for various landscape areas to ensure even distribution and minimize wastage.
  • Installation Oversight:
  • Supervise the installation of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure the correct placement of pipelines, valves, and emitters.
  • Ensure systems are installed according to design specifications and timelines.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Inspect and maintain irrigation systems to prevent leaks, clogs, or inefficiencies.
  • Repair malfunctioning equipment, such as sprinklers, valves, or pumps.
  • Adjust systems seasonally based on weather conditions or plant growth changes.
  • Water Management:
  • Implement water-saving technologies like smart controllers, rain sensors, or moisture sensors.
  • Optimize irrigation schedules to avoid overwatering or underwatering.
  • Analyze water usage data and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Environmental Compliance:
  • Ensure systems are designed to minimize runoff and erosion.
  • Work on sustainable irrigation practices to conserve water and protect surrounding ecosystems.
  • Stay updated with local laws and environmental standards related to water use and irrigation.
  • Client and Team Collaboration:
  • Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored irrigation solutions.
  • Train clients or maintenance teams on system operation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to align irrigation systems with aesthetic and functional goals.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines for irrigation systems.
  • Document system designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of Hands-on experience with the installation of irrigation infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of pumps, piping networks, sprinklers, and drip systems
  • Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and water management principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools
  • Excellent analytical and estimation skills
  • Candidate Must have own Laptop & Bike

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
