Key ResponsibilitiesIrrigation Design & Planning
- Prepare, review, and improve irrigation designs, layouts, and hydraulic calculations to ensure efficient system performance.
- Develop irrigation shop drawings, as-built drawings, and related technical documentation.
- Review BOQs, specifications, and material submittals related to irrigation works.
- Ensure all designs comply with project requirements, UAE regulations, and water conservation standards.
- Support project planning and coordination during the design and pre-construction stages.
Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise installation of irrigation systems across landscaping projects.
- Ensure site works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate installation of pipe networks, valve chambers, pump stations, filtration units, and control systems.
- Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is delivered accurately and on time.
Irrigation Systems Management
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of irrigation systems.
- Supervise drip, sprinkler, bubbler, subsurface, and automated irrigation systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, valves, controllers, sensors, and filtration systems.
- Optimize irrigation schedules and controller programming to improve water efficiency.
- Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and system performance improvements when required.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, architects, and site teams.
- Ensure proper integration of irrigation systems with civil, MEP, drainage, and landscape works.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input where required.
- Support approvals, inspections, and compliance with authority requirements.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Carry out inspections at all stages of irrigation installation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority regulations.
- Monitor workmanship on site and ensure corrective actions are implemented when required.
- Maintain proper quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
Cost Control & Material Management
- Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Evaluate irrigation materials and support procurement activities.
- Monitor material usage and help control project costs effectively.
- Assist in verifying quantities and evaluating variation orders.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records including inspections, approvals, technical submittals, and correspondence.
- Track project progress, delays, risks, and site issues.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and final handover documentation.
Health, Safety & Sustainability
- Ensure strict compliance with company HSE policies and site safety standards.
- Promote efficient water usage and sustainable irrigation practices across all projects.
- Support environmental and water conservation initiatives.
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of UAE experience in irrigation or landscaping projects.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulic calculations, pumps, valves, controllers, and automation systems.
- Experience with drip, sprinkler, bubbler, and smart irrigation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of UAE municipality regulations and irrigation standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and irrigation design tools.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
