Irrigation Supervisor

Job Purpose:
To oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water distribution for landscaping and agricultural areas. The role involves supervising field staff, monitoring irrigation schedules, preparing reports, and ensuring systems operate at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day irrigation operations, including scheduling, monitoring, and adjusting systems as needed.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Train and guide irrigation staff on correct procedures, safety, and system handling.
• Coordinate with landscaping and maintenance teams to meet water requirements effectively.
• Keep accurate records of water usage, system maintenance, and repairs.
• Prepare reports and submit them to management in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in irrigation supervision.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and their components.
• Good computer literacy with strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Presentable appearance with good hygiene standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to manage teams and resolve on-site challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of water conservation techniques and sustainable irrigation practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼3,200.00 - ﷼3,800.00 per month
