Irrigation System Engineer

Job Summary

Drako Smart System is looking for a skilled and motivated Irrigation System Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising smart irrigation systems for farms, including piping networks, electrical control systems, sensors, and automation controllers to improve water efficiency and farm productivity.

Key Responsibilities

* Design irrigation systems for farms, including piping layouts and water distribution networks.

* Select and size pumps, valves, filters, and irrigation components.

* Design and integrate electrical systems related to irrigation control.

* Configure and install:

* Electric valves

* Moisture sensors

* Water level sensors

* Flow meters

* Irrigation controllers

* Develop smart automation and monitoring solutions for irrigation systems.

* Program and configure irrigation controllers and smart systems.

* Conduct site surveys and assess farm requirements.

* Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and documentation.

* Troubleshoot and maintain irrigation and control systems.

* Coordinate with installation teams and contractors during project execution.

* Ensure systems operate efficiently with minimum water and energy consumption.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

* Experience in irrigation systems, smart farming, or automation systems.

* Knowledge of:

* Irrigation design

* Electrical control systems

* Sensors and automation

* PLC/controllers (preferred)

* Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.

* Good problem-solving and communication skills.

* UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with smart irrigation technologies and IoT systems.

* Knowledge of solar-powered irrigation systems.

* Experience in farm automation and monitoring systems.

* Familiarity with mobile/app-based control systems.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• smart irrigation technologies and IoT systems.: 5 years (Preferred)
• solar-powered irrigation systems.: 3 years (Preferred)
• farm automation and monitoring systems.: 4 years (Preferred)
• Familiarity with mobile/app-based control systems.: 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
• Arabic (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driving (Preferred)
