Key Responsibilities1. Installation & System Setup
- Install irrigation systems including sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, fittings, and related components
- Set up drip, spray, rotor, and other irrigation systems as per project requirements
- Collaborate with landscape designers and site teams during new installations
- Ensure proper layout and execution of irrigation networks across landscape areas
2. Maintenance & Repairs
- Inspect irrigation systems to detect leaks, clogs, broken parts, or inefficiencies
- Repair or replace damaged components such as pipes, valves, emitters, and controllers
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular system servicing
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
3. System Operation & Optimization
- Program and operate irrigation controllers for proper watering schedules
- Adjust timers, flow rates, and settings to optimize water usage and plant health
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments for efficiency
- Support water conservation efforts through optimized irrigation practices
4. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Diagnose irrigation system faults and recommend effective solutions
- Resolve pressure issues, uneven watering, and system malfunctions
- Provide technical support to landscape teams and supervisors as required
- Respond promptly to irrigation-related issues on site
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work
- Report system performance, issues, and water usage observations
- Assist in tracking maintenance schedules and service logs
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are maintained properly
- Follow company safety procedures and UAE health & safety regulations
- Use PPE at all times and maintain safe working practices on site
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or in landscaping irrigation works
- Knowledge of sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, fittings, and irrigation systems
- Experience with drip, spray, rotor, and automated irrigation systems
- Understanding of water conservation principles and best irrigation practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve irrigation system issues effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety awareness
- Ability to work in outdoor site conditions and as part of a team
