Irrigation Technicians ( Landscaping experience )

PERFECT Technical Works & Landscaping LLC, PTWL is looking for Irrigation Technicians (Landscaping Projects) with 5+ years' experience to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

The position has the following responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, and related components.
• Inspect irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, broken components, clogged pipes, or incorrect water distribution.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with irrigation systems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Adjust irrigation settings, timers, and water distribution to optimize water usage and ensure proper plant health.
• Program and operate irrigation controllers to ensure proper irrigation schedules and timing.
• Collaborate with landscape designers or architects to ensure proper placement and installation of irrigation systems during new landscape installations.
• Maintain accurate records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, adjusting, and winterizing irrigation systems.
• Monitor and report on water usage and conservation efforts, and recommend improvements to optimize water efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing recommendations for irrigation system improvements.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections and cleaning on a daily basis.
• Be equipped with appropriate PPE at all times. Ensure any labourers also equipped with appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations.
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.

Requirement:

• Proven work experience as a Landscaping companies or similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of irrigation system components, including sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, and fittings.
• Familiarity with different types of irrigation systems, such as drip, spray, and rotor systems.
• Understanding of water conservation principles and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system issues.
