Islamic Studies Female Teacher (Secondary Section – Classes VI to X)

Peace International School is inviting applications for the position of Islamic Studies Female Teacher for Secondary Classes (Classes VI to X – Matric and Cambridge streams as applicable). We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and committed educator who can effectively teach Islamic Studies, inspire students spiritually and morally, and uphold the Islamic values central to our school's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Islamic Studies to students of Classes VI to X, in alignment with:
• Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) curriculum for Matric classes.
• Cambridge curriculum support for Islamic Studies, where applicable.
• Design and deliver well-structured, engaging lesson plans rooted in:
• Qur'an and its Tafsir (interpretation)
• Authentic Ahadith
• Seerah (life of the Prophet ﷺ)
• Islamic beliefs (Aqaid), worship (Ibadah), character (Akhlaq), and history
• Develop students’ understanding of Islamic values, ethics, and daily life application.
• Create a disciplined and spiritually enriching classroom environment, promoting respect, honesty, and responsibility.
• Assess and monitor students' academic progress through classwork, tests, and projects, and provide regular feedback.
• Organize and participate in school-wide Islamic activities such as:
• Seerah Week
• Quran Recitation and Memorization Competitions
• Friday Khutbah and Tarbiyah sessions
• Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers for curriculum integration and school events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic, or a related field (B.Ed. or M.Ed. preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of BSEK Islamic Studies curriculum and familiarity with Cambridge Islamic Studies content (where applicable).
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Fluent in Urdu and English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
• Deep personal commitment to Islamic teachings and the ability to model them in speech, conduct, and dress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs40,000.00 per month
