Position: Islamiyat Teacher
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum and learning objectives.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and educational resources to enhance student understanding.
- Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and Islamic values.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for Cambridge assessments and examinations through effective teaching strategies.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies, including technology and AI-based learning tools, where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and professional development activities.
- Ensure classroom discipline and uphold the school’s policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, Islamiyat, or a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Islamiyat curriculum and examination requirements.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous teaching experience in a Cambridge school will be preferred.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms.
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
