An IT Assistant supports the IT team by helping with daily technology tasks, documentation, and general tech support. Responsibilities often include:
Assist users with basic technical issues for hardware and software.
Respond to help desk requests and document resolutions.
Help set up workstations, install operating systems, and configure applications.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment (laptops, peripherals).
Assist with system updates, backups, and asset tagging.
Support network troubleshooting under supervision.
Prepare documentation, reports, and asset logs.
Help coordinate meetings and IT-related administrative tasks.
Track procurement and assist with vendor communication (often part of the assistant duties).
Work closely with IT engineers on projects and implementations.
Provide general office IT assistance and help desk escalation support.
Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
