The IT Business Relationship Manager acts as the strategic interface between Information Technology and business units, ensuring that technology initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives and deliver measurable business value.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties
Business & IT Alignment

Act as the primary interface between the IT function and assigned business units, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

Develop a strong understanding of business strategies and operational priorities, translating them into clear IT requirements and initiatives.

Ensure IT services, projects, and solutions are aligned with business needs and organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Build and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders to promote collaboration and trust.

Manage stakeholder expectations related to IT service delivery, project progress, and technology performance.
-
Facilitate clear and ongoing communication between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
Technology Enablement & Digital Support

Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience through technology.

Support digital transformation initiatives by aligning business requirements with IT capabilities.

Collaborate with IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cloud teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions.
Service Performance & Continuous Improvement

Monitor IT service delivery and project outcomes from a business perspective.

Gather and report feedback on IT performance and business satisfaction.

Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service quality and alignment.
Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Aldar Estates health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Aldar Estates HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.
Information Security responsibilities:

Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities.

Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training

Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).

Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus

Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.

Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications
Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP)
ITIL Foundation
PMP or Agile certifications (advantageous)
Experience and Skills:
Industry Experience (No. of years):

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT roles with exposure to infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cloud technologies.
Position/functional experience (No. of years):

Demonstrated experience in business engagement, stakeholder management, and IT–business coordination roles.
