IT Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

The jobholder governs the design and performance of infrastructure services, including Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, meeting platforms, and datacenter systems. The role ensures technical integrity, compliance, and alignment with the cloud-first strategy while overseeing service delivery by a managed service vendor.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, especially Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and windows server and Linux and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong with cloud service portals (GCP, Azure).
• Strong knowledge in security tools CrowdStrike, Cisco email security, WAF F5.
• Deep Understanding of IIS and Web Servers.
• Database systems (MS SQL, Postgres, etc.)
• Backup and DR
• Ensure proper implementation of security controls and patches across related infrastructure systems and clouds.
• Oversee change management processes for related modifications.
• Support managed service engineers in resolving high-severity incidents and escalations.
• Perform routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to ensure systems availability and performance.
• Validate incident root cause analysis and corrective actions from the vendor.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience on IT cloud engineer /IT Engineer
• Proficiency level in English required, and fluency in Arabic is preferred
• Expert knowledge of IT cloud and Security best practices, procedures, and standards
