Organization: Information Technology Authority (ITA)

Remuneration: OMR 2,800 per month (All-inclusive)

Strategic Mandate In the heart of Oman’s burgeoning tech district, the ITA is looking for an IT Compliance Officer to serve as the primary guardian of our digital integrity. This isn't a passive monitoring role; you will be the architect of the compliance frameworks that protect the Innovation Hub's most critical assets. You will bridge the gap between complex regulatory mandates and the agile pace of a modern tech ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities & Technical DNA

• Regulatory Architecture: Design and deploy internal control systems that align with the Information Technology Authority’s national standards and international best practices (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Audit Lifecycle Management: Lead comprehensive technical audits across the Hub’s infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities before they become liabilities.
• Risk Mitigation & Reporting: Transform complex technical data into high-level compliance reports for executive stakeholders, ensuring the Hub maintains its "Innovation" status without compromising security.
• Incident Governance: Oversee the compliance aspect of cybersecurity incidents, ensuring that response protocols meet both legal requirements and organizational policies.

The Candidate Profile

• Expertise: Proven track record in IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), specifically within a government or highly regulated tech environment.
• Professional Credentials: Possession of CISA, CRISC, or CISM is highly valued for this specific bracket.
• Contextual Intelligence: Deep understanding of the Middle Eastern tech landscape and the specific regulatory nuances of the Sultanate of Oman.
• Language: C2-level proficiency in professional English is required to handle complex documentation and international stakeholder management.
