Position Summary
The Information Technology (IT) Coordinator is responsible for the technical support of Med Communications (MC) services at all levels.

IT Operations

Monitor IT support tickets daily.

Coordinate handling of escalated technical issues with IT vendor.

Assist employees with technical issues.

Assist with programming, monitoring, and maintaining phone system.
-
Coordinate and execute installation of software and hardware.
-
Coordinate and set up IT equipment and software for new hires.
-
Provide IT help for new hires on IT equipment and software.

Assist with testing from IT Vendors

Serve as Database Administrator for MC hosted IRMS and other software.
-
Maintain MC dashboard.
-
Coordinate with Senior IT Operations Manager regarding new technical enhancements or needs.

Serve as backup for MC hosted software.
-
Assist with reporting needs of database and phone system.
-
Provide support to Senior IT Operations Manager.

Serve as an after-hours contact for emergency technical situations.

Maintain training materials for IT hardware equipment and software, phone software, and Microsoft 365.

Ability to simplify complex technical data into simpler terms and explain it articulately.

Effective data management skills that help prepare reports and maintain records.

Knowledge of Microsoft office applications, operating systems, and languages.

Technical knowledge in the fields of computer science, and technologies used in a call center and pharmaceutical environment.

Skills And Abilities
Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 3 years previous experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Prefer proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps, database software, IT hardware and software.
