Job Title: IT Coordinator

Location: McAllen, Texas

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Coordinator to join our team in McAllen, Texas. This on-site role is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure and technology-related operations. The IT Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology services that support property management operations, staff productivity, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveillance Camera Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain surveillance camera systems across company properties.
  • Monitor camera systems and respond promptly to technical issues or incidents.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

WiFi and Wired Internet Reliability:

  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and performance of WiFi networks and wired internet connections.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues for staff and tenants.
  • Monitor network performance and recommend upgrades to improve speed, coverage, and reliability.

Door Access Control Systems:

  • Install, configure, and maintain electronic door access control systems.
  • Manage user permissions and access levels to ensure property security.
  • Monitor access logs and respond to system issues or security concerns.

Computer Equipment and Hardware Support:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Install software updates, patches, and security tools.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and warranties.

Audio Systems:

  • Install and configure amplifiers and sound distribution systems in business centers and common areas.
  • Configure related software to ensure appropriate sound levels.
  • Run and manage cabling for speaker installations.
  • Assess common areas to recommend appropriate audio equipment solutions.

Administrative and Systems Access Support:

  • Support administrative functions related to IT systems and user access management.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts for corporate email, internal platforms, and third-party business applications.
  • Manage access permissions based on employee roles, onboarding, offboarding, and internal changes.
  • Coordinate with department managers to ensure staff have appropriate system access to perform their duties.
  • Maintain documentation of system access, credentials management procedures, and internal IT policies.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, system configurations, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve IT security, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and access control systems.
  • Experience managing user access and permissions across multiple business systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with staff, vendors, and management.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance standards.
