IT Deployment Project Manager

Job Summary
Seeking a dependable and organized IT Deployment Project Manager to oversee workstation deployment, disconnect/reconnect, office relocation, and technical setup projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

This role is ideal for someone with experience coordinating IT field technicians, managing small-to-mid-sized deployment projects, and communicating professionally with clients in fast-paced office environments.

The Project Manager will serve as the on-site lead responsible for coordinating technicians, ensuring project quality, maintaining timelines, and providing a smooth client experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate workstation deployment and reconnect projects
  • Manage on-site technicians and assign daily tasks
  • Communicate with clients, facilities teams, movers, and internal staff
  • Ensure proper disconnect/reconnect of:
  • Desktops and laptops
  • Dual monitor setups
  • Docking stations
  • Phones and peripherals
  • Verify workstation functionality after setup
  • Assist with monitor mounting and monitor arm adjustments
  • Ensure cable management and workstation presentation standards are met
  • Track project progress and address issues in real time
  • Maintain professional documentation including:
  • Scope confirmations
  • Timesheets
  • Project completion notes
  • Conduct final walkthroughs with clients before departure
  • Help maintain a professional and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading IT deployment, workstation setup, or office relocation projects preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage small technical teams in the field
  • Comfortable working in active office and construction environments
  • Experience with dual monitor setups, docking stations, and basic IT peripherals
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
  • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Experience with commercial office moves or low-voltage/IT field work is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of cable management best practices
  • Experience with project coordination or field operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot workstation setup issues
  • Comfortable using mobile communication platforms such as Discord or Microsoft Teams

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Experience:

  • IT project management: 2 years (Required)
