Role Overview

The IT Desktop Engineer provides technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems and contributing to overall IT efficiency. This role delivers support to both on-site and remote users while ensuring compliance with IT policies and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize user downtime.
• Configure, install, and maintain desktop devices, including PCs, monitors, printers, and other peripherals.
• Guide users on software and hardware usage to enhance productivity.
• Deliver remote technical support to off-site employees.
• Monitor and optimize desktop performance through proactive maintenance.
• Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
• Document support activities, solutions, and best practices to build a knowledge base.
• Collaborate with team members, participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to training initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Microsoft Certifications and System Administration credentials.
• Technical Support Fundamentals knowledge.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Desktop Support or related roles.
• Proficiency in English (essential); Arabic (preferred).
