Job Description
Role purpos:
-
The Country IT & Digital Technology Lead is responsible for the delivery of all PK Syngenta integrated end-to-end IT/Digital business application platforms and infrastructure services across country sites. This over arching role will cover following broad services:
IT Services
-
Develop & implement the IT Vision and Roadmap aligned with Syngenta’s Regional & Country-level strategic objectives

IT Services and Delivery management
-
Engage and align IT initiatives with commercial, Finance and Digital strategies / KPIs
-
Ensure availability and uninterrupted functioning of IT systems, Services and infrastructure across all Syngenta Pakistan managed Sites
-
Local Technology and Infrastructure management
-
Network services, Service Desk & Deskside support
-
Oversee device inventory management, data security and business continuity in collaboration with regional teams
-
Security Management
-
IT Operations incl. NOC, Service continuity management
-
Disaster recovery plan management
Vendor & SLA management
-
Manage External vendors and service providers and ensure SLA performance monitoring
-
IT contract management / SOW
-
Maintain strong partnerships with Syngenta regional IT & Digital support teams
Digital Transformation and Business Application Platforms
-
Lead the Digital Transformation Agenda of Syngenta Pakistan
-
Provide the technical guidance and support on Syngenta’s business applications.
-
Implementing or Supporting Enterprise applications’ management i.e. (ERP, SAP, SAL (Salesforce/Workforce management), B2B Ordering (OMS), POS (B2C), MS 365 etc.)

Lead the Application Development, Deployment, User Support and maintenance (Web/App/Enterprise) setups
-
Service orchestrations and API integration projects (ERP & external Apps)

Functional expert to ring fence and details requirements (identification to detailing and translating as system requirements)

Scoping and evaluation of RFIs/RFPs
-
Ability to steer and guide PMO.

Engage with senior country and regional stakeholders to sustain delivered platforms
-
Must be good to take forward to changing management processes.
Qualifications-
8 to 10+ years business/IT experience with 3-5 years in managerial positions.

Holds university graduate or postgraduate and or management degree in science, computing, engineering or optionally commerce.

Proven track record of driving and delivering IT/Digital services, business platform and change management initiatives
-
Experience of leading multinational teams and working across countries and cultures to achieve solutions
-
Experience of setting up and managing large country specific service delivery in a multinational organization
-
A recognized and respected leader in the IS community and adept at managing senior (C level) stakeholders AND (for supplier mgmt.)

A track record of managing teams leading very large partnerships with external suppliers in a multi supplier setup AND (for quality mgmt.)

Experience of running Quality/Delivery & IT teams to set up and improve internal and external processes impacting large organizations OR (Product Management e.g. Country, R&D IT etc.)

Experience in collaborating and partnering with regional, global forums to achieve solution
-
A proven track-records of success in leading multi-cultural projects with pan-Syngenta impact and transitioning to well-accepted, scalable global products
