Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Engineer with strong experience in Audio Visual (AV) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, demonstration, and documentation of AV equipment and integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission AV equipment including displays, projectors, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and control systems
- Conduct system demonstrations and client training sessions
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV hardware and software issues on-site
- Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, and operation manuals
- Coordinate with project teams for smooth project execution
- Ensure proper testing and quality checks before project handover
- Provide after-sales technical support when required
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Electronics, or related field
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in AV systems installation and support
- Strong understanding of networking and IT fundamentals
- Experience with brands like Crestron, Extron, Logitech, Cisco AV (preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and system schematics
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Willingness to travel for on-site installations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital signage and CMS systems
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or system drawing tools
- Documentation skills (SOPs, manuals, as-built diagrams)
