Job Description – IT Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

Position: IT Engineer – Networking
Location: Salalah, Sultanate of Oman
Experience Required: 8–10 Years GCC Experience
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics (Attested Certificates Required)

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT networking systems.
• Manage LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues and ensure smooth operation.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system uptime and security.
• Configure and maintain servers, network devices, and backup systems.
• Support CCTV, Access Control, and other integrated IT systems.
• Handle network security, antivirus, and firewall management.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT support and procurement.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and network diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years GCC experience in IT networking and system support.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience in firewall configuration and network security.
• Knowledge of server administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in supporting ELV integrated systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• GCC Driving License is an added advantage.
