WE ARE HIRING – IT EXECUTIVE

The Taleb Group in Doha Qatar is seeking a skilled IT Executive to manage and support the hospital’s IT infrastructure and healthcare systems. The candidate will ensure the smooth operation of clinical and administrative applications, maintain system security, and provide technical support to staff.

Position: IT Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Hospital Information System (HIS), EMR/EHR, LIS, and other healthcare applications
• Provide technical support to doctors, nurses, and administrative staff
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers (Windows & Linux), any system uptime
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems
• Administer Linux servers, including user management, permissions, and basic shell operations
• Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution
• Support integration between hospital systems (HIS, pharmacy, lab, radiology, etc.)
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and access controls
• Assist in implementation of new IT projects and digital solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support or administration (hospital experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu/CentOS/Red Hat) and Windows environments
• Experience with server management, networking, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hospital systems (HIS, EMR, LIS, RIS) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of databases and system security
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Skills: Good communication and coordination skills

Salary: QR 3,000 – QR 4,000 (based on experience & qualifications)
