Position Summary

We are seeking an IT Field Service Technician to join our team! The IT Field Service Technician provides onsite and remote technical support to our clients. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively with our internal team.

* Only candidates with IT Field Service experience located in the Lakeland area will be considered at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite technical support, hardware repair, and equipment installation for clients
  • Deliver professional and efficient customer service while troubleshooting technical issues and applications
  • Diagnose and resolve help desk tickets and IT performance issues
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment improvements
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Independently manage field assignments and scheduling

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of desktop/help desk support experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • CompTIA A+ Certification (required)
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification (required)

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular travel to client locations and the ability to:

  • Operate a motor vehicle safely
  • Lift, carry, push, or move equipment (occasionally exceeding 150 lbs with assistance)
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, and reach overhead
  • Sit or stand for extended periods
  • Perform repetitive hand and finger movements (typing, writing, equipment handling)
  • Read computer screens and detect color coding and fine print
  • Communicate effectively in person and by phone

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
