IT Field Technician

Job Title: IT Field Technician
Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in an IT-related field or 2+ years of IT experience with a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field preferred. IT experience may substitute for education upon validation.
  • Exposure to application support, IT help desk, desktop support, hardware setup, and/or Microsoft 365.
  • Customer service experience in a previous role.
  • Ambition for professional growth.

Job Summary:
Discover a rewarding career at Arcare. We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Field Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide remote technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure efficient resolution of IT requests. Your responsibilities include utilizing remote support tools, setting up devices, and delivering excellent customer service to enhance the end-user experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a drive to stay updated on technological advancements. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally while supporting Arcare’s mission of providing quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing user inquiries and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Utilize remote support tools to troubleshoot and resolve IT requests efficiently.
  • Prepare and deploy computers, laptops, and mobile devices for end users.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation to support internal IT processes and end-user education.
  • Capture and document issue details and troubleshooting steps within the ticketing system.
  • Support the organization’s cloud-based phone systems and telecom equipment.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to foster a positive and efficient workflow.
  • Stay current with technological developments to improve support capabilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT training resources for staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
