From the Henderson, NV facility, Velasea designs and builds purpose-built systems - servers, NVRs, storage, networking, workstations, and edge compute - for customers across industries including government, healthcare, transportation, and critical infrastructure.

About the IT Environment

Our Henderson IT team supports both Arbitech and Velasea, which share our facility. Day to day, that means working in a warehouse environment with active shipping lines, around fifty Zebra enterprise label printers, multiple pack stations, and forklift traffic, alongside a corporate IT footprint of hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure Entra.

It's a small IT team. You'd work directly with the IT lead in Henderson, supported by an in-house Engineering team and an external MSP for after-hours coverage.

The Role

We're hiring an IT Help Desk II to support our Henderson team. This is a hands-on, on-site role - fielding tickets, supporting end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and keeping our daily IT operations running smoothly. A meaningful part of the work happens on our warehouse floor supporting the shipping operation.

What You'll Do

End-user and daily operations support:

  • Field tickets across the company - workstations, peripherals, software, network, account access
  • Set up new employee workstations including cable management and peripheral connectivity
  • Track and prioritize requests through our internal ticketing system
  • Maintain and update technical documentation
  • Communicate clearly with users, including during high-pressure operational moments
  • Help keep the server room and IT spaces clean, organized, and compliant

Identity and Microsoft 365 support:

  • Day-to-day Active Directory user and group support: account management, password resets, group membership, OU placement
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure Entra ID: user lifecycle, MFA enrollment and troubleshooting, license assignment
  • Troubleshoot authentication, access, and directory synchronization issues
  • Support new employee provisioning end to end (including on-prem Exchange mailbox creation and migration to Exchange Online)
  • Support SharePoint Online structure, permissions, and content organization

Warehouse floor support:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain approximately 50 Zebra enterprise label printers across the shipping line and pack stations
  • Support workstations and barcode scanners at active pack stations
  • Coordinate with the shipping team during line-impacting issues to keep operations moving

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years in a helpdesk, desktop support, or comparable role
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: VLANs, DHCP, DNS, basic firewall concepts
  • Familiarity with VMware virtualization
  • Exposure to Zebra (or other thermal/label) printers
  • Strong communication - clear writing, calm under pressure, comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently in a small team

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role is fully on-site in Henderson, NV. Recurring part of the job happens on a working warehouse floor.

  • Awareness of and ability to work safely around active forklift traffic and pallet movement
  • Ability to walk the warehouse floor multiple times per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (workstation moves, equipment setup)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
