IT Implementation Project Manager

IT Implementation Project Manager | Location: Remote | Contract

This IT Implementation Project Manager role supports a public-sector court environment by driving delivery of a custom case management system build and related data migration efforts. You’ll lead vendor execution and governance while partnering with court stakeholders to keep scope, schedule, deliverables, and quality on track in a Microsoft Dynamics–adjacent implementation landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead vendor execution against contract scope, schedule, deliverables, and quality expectations.
• Establish and run a structured cadence for status reporting, action tracking, and escalation management.
• Identify vendor delivery and performance risks early, and drive corrective actions to keep the program on plan.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution between the implementation vendor and court stakeholders to maintain alignment and decision velocity.
• Drive planning and oversight for migrating data from a legacy system into Microsoft Dynamics as part of the broader implementation effort.
• Produce weekly status reporting and executive summaries that clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions, and next actions.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience with direct vendor oversight.
• Experience managing complex IT/software implementation projects.
• Ability to start by the last week of June 2026 (to support potential pre–kickoff meetings ahead of the first week of July 2026 kickoff).
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Agile certification.
• Previous Microsoft Dynamics experience.
• Experience managing projects valued at $10,000 or greater with day-to-day responsibility for vendor performance against scope, schedule, quality, and deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to independently maintain and drive an integrated project schedule.
• Demonstrated ability to complete weekly status reporting and executive summaries, and track actions/decisions.
• Demonstrated experience leading vendor oversight activities.
