IT Infrastructure / CCTV engineer

Looking for a hands-on Senior IT Infrastructure / CCTV Engineer to implement and support IT infrastructure solutions.

The role includes network setup, security, servers, CCTV, cabling, Fiber Optic and Data Center work, with a strong focus on on-site execution.

This is a field-based, hands-on role requiring practical experience in both system configuration and physical deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Infrastructure

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WiFi)
• Install and manage routers, switches, and network devices
• Perform network troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization
• Implement VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs, and QoS

Cybersecurity & Firewalls

• Deploy and manage firewalls and security appliances (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.)
• Configure VPNs, IPS/IDS, endpoint security, and access control
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and basic security hardening
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices

Servers & Systems

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers
• Handle virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Support cloud integrations (Azure, AWS, or others)

CCTV & Low Current Systems

• Install and configure CCTV systems, cameras, and NVRs
• Design surveillance layouts and ensure system integration
• Troubleshoot and maintain security monitoring systems

Disaster Recovery & Backup

• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
• Perform regular backup monitoring and restoration testing
• Support business continuity planning (BCP)

Cabling & Data Center

• Install and terminate network cabling (Cat6, Fiber)
• Setup and organize server racks and patch panels
• Perform proper labeling and cable management
• Support data center / server room setup and maintenance

Project Delivery & Support

• Participate in pre-sales technical discussions and solution design
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and documentation
• Provide on-site and remote support to clients
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers

Requirements:

Experience:

• 3 - 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure / network engineering

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking (Routing, Switching, TCP/IP)
• Experience with firewalls and security systems
• Hands-on experience with servers and virtualization
• CCTV systems installation and configuration experience
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus

Certifications (Preferred):

• CCNA / CCNP
• Fortinet NSE or equivalent
• Microsoft / VMware certifications
• Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CEH – plus)

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Good communication and client-facing skills

Pay: ﷼2,700.00 - ﷼3,300.00 per month
