IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for a leading banking client in Oman. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure administration, virtualization, Linux systems, storage platforms, and data center operations. Banking or GCC experience will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Dell MX servers and PowerMax storage infrastructure.
• Manage and support Linux servers and VMware environments.
• Administer Windows infrastructure, Citrix, VDI, and storage platforms.
• Support Exchange Server administration, mail flow monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage infrastructure availability, capacity planning, and IT continuity initiatives.
• Support backup solutions, optimization, and disaster recovery operations.
• Assist database and application teams with infrastructure-related activities.
• Support MDM solutions and infrastructure security initiatives.
• Perform infrastructure testing across Windows, Linux, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure high availability of business-critical systems.
• Resolve audit findings and security observations within agreed timelines.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with banking standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Support.
• Prior experience in Banking, preferably in Oman or GCC.
