Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned IT Infrastructure Technical Consultant who will lead initiatives focused on problem management, innovation, and service improvement across diverse technology stacks. The role demands expertise in Linux, Unix, VMware, Storage, Backup, Windows, Cloud platforms, and Database administration, combined with strong capabilities in automation, cloud provisioning, configuration management, and CI/CD pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities:

Problem Management & Service Improvement

Drive root cause analysis for recurring infrastructure issues and implement permanent fixes.

Develop and execute service improvement plans to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability across systems.

Establish proactive monitoring and predictive analytics to prevent incidents.

Innovation & Automation Initiatives

Identify opportunities for automation in infrastructure operations and implement solutions using tools like Ansible, ITPA, Scripting, or similar.

Design and deploy cloud provisioning frameworks and configuration management systems to streamline operations.

Lead CI/CD pipeline development for infrastructure deployments, ensuring faster and more reliable delivery.

Technology Leadership

Architect and optimize infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

Manage virtualization (VMware), storage, backup, and database systems with a focus on performance and security.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Core Expertise: Linux/Unix, Windows Server, VMware, Storage, Backup, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Database Administration.

Automation & DevOps: Ansible, ITPA, Scripting, or similar.

Problem Management: Strong analytical skills for RCA and service improvement planning.

Innovation Mindset: Ability to identify and implement cutting-edge solutions for operational efficiency.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities.
