Position Overview
Education Pathways is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Instructor. The position involves developing and delivering both theoretical and practical IT modules, creating structured lesson plans, course materials, and industry-aligned assignments. The instructor will provide continuous academic guidance, mentorship, and project support to learners, ensuring they meet program objectives and progress successfully through their studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Information Technology modules within the Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma and related programs.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans, course materials, and practical assignments aligned with program objectives.
- Provide academic support, mentorship, and guidance to students on coursework and projects.
- Assess and evaluate student performance in line with institutional standards.
- Contribute to fostering an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Stay updated with current IT industry trends and integrate them into teaching.
Qualification and Skills
- Undergraduate degree from a Western university (required). A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Strong academic knowledge in IT, with expertise in areas such as software development,
databases, networking, cybersecurity, or emerging technologies.
- Prior teaching, training, or industry experience in IT (higher education experience preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to teach and engage students in a multicultural academic environment.
- Availability to teach on a part-time basis (evenings or weekends may be required).
