Pay: $23.50 – $24.25 an hour

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to support our team in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. During the peak season from mid‑July through late September, this role may require working up to six days per week. As our cannery operates 24/7, flexibility to work either Day or Swing shift is required. This position will be primarily responsible for:

  • Providing IT support to end users both in person and over the phone, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Tracking, updating, and resolving incidents and service requests using our ticketing system while following established service workflows.
  • Assisting with the deployment, configuration, and documentation of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshooting desktop applications and system issues, including Outlook email, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree program (or recent graduation) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
  • Ability to follow documented instructions, processes, and procedures consistently, and contribute to creating or improving documentation where gaps exist.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft O365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts or experience querying or navigating simple database structures.
  • Familiarity with common desktop operating systems (Windows required; macOS is a plus).
  • Familiarity with telephone systems and basic troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements:

Moderate lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; moderate stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and rare fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 25% or less walking, and 50% or less standing. The job is performed under rare temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 45 lbs. is required.
