Position Overview
The IT & ISMS Officer supports the IT department by maintaining and operating the IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance with information security policies. The role combines hands-on technical support with responsibilities related to information security, audits, and employee awareness.
Core Responsibilities

IT Support & Infrastructure Management:

Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and applications (Windows, MAC OSX, Office 365, G-Suite, Adobe).

Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computers, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.

Assist in creating and managing user accounts, group permissions, and network access in Active Directory.

Map and manage network drives and shared folders.
-
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and escalate as needed.

System & Server Administration:

Assist in routine server and network administration tasks, including backups, updates, and system monitoring.

Ensure antivirus, security patches, and updates are applied across endpoints and servers.

Support VPN setup and remote access control for employees.

ISMS & Security Compliance:
-
Support implementation and maintenance of ISMS policies, procedures, and standards.

Assist in conducting internal audits, vulnerability assessments, and external ISMS audits.

Monitor security logs, alerts, and incidents, and report findings to the IT Manager.

Conduct employee awareness sessions and training on information security practices.

Support risk assessment exercises and help in maintaining compliance documentation.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain IT inventory records for all hardware, software, and network devices.

Document IT incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.

Prepare monthly reports on IT performance, security incidents, and ISMS compliance.
Other Duties
-
Stay updated with emerging technologies and security trends.

Assist the IT Manager with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration, with exposure to information security management.

Knowledge of Windows, MAC OSX, Office 365, G-Suite, networking, and server administration.

Familiarity with ISMS, ISO 27001 standards, and basic security practices.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
