TITLE: IT Lead Analyst – Workday Financials, Accounting Center & Prism Analytics

LOCATION: Greater Chicago, IL or Remote

PAY: Target pay for this role is between $140k and $150k per year

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This is a Senior-level IT Lead position.

We are seeking a highly visible technical leader to own and optimize a Workday Financials platform supporting enterprise Finance and Accounting operations. This role plays a critical part in driving system implementation, configuration, automation, and ongoing enhancements across Workday Core Financials, Accounting Center, and Prism Analytics.

You will:

• Lead day-to-day management of Workday Core Financials, Accounting Center, and Prism Analytics
• Drive requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
• Lead configuration, business process workflows, integrations, reporting, and security
• Support accounting functions, including GL, journals, allocations, period close, banking integrations, and accounting transformations
• Design and manage Prism Analytics data modeling, ingestion pipelines, governance, and reporting datasets
• Oversee system upgrades, testing, deployments, and continuous improvements
• Lead data migration strategy and integration design (banks, tax engines, subledgers, operational sources)
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, AP/AR, HR, IT, and business leadership

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a highly strategic financial systems platform and drive modernization, automation, and optimization initiatives that directly impact enterprise financial operations.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience (Accounting/GL/Close)
• Experience implementing and managing Workday Core Financials and Accounting Center
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics
• Strong understanding of financial processes including GL, AP/AR, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Experience with configuration, integrations, business processes, reporting, and security within Workday

Certifications in Workday Financials and Accounting Center are a plus.
