Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our organization's information technology department. This role is responsible for managing user access to contracted hospital systems, ensuring data integrity and security, running analytics and reports for client hospitals, and supporting integrations between bServed’s internal platforms and client systems. The position is fully remote, requiring a self-driven professional with strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills in healthcare IT or revenue cycle environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee system access for bServed staff across multiple contracted hospitals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and hospital IT policies.
  • Coordinate with hospital IT departments to establish, maintain, and terminate user accounts, VPN access, and EHR (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) permissions.
  • Maintain documentation of all system credentials, permissions, and access logs in alignment with internal security protocols.
  • Receive, validate, and organize daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports from hospitals.
  • Run detailed analytics on hospital performance metrics, including utilization, denials, turnaround times, and financial outcomes.
  • Partner with the Operations and Clinical teams to identify trends and performance opportunities based on data analysis.
  • Support integration projects between bServed’s proprietary software (MGear) and hospital systems or payer portals.
  • Monitor data exchange processes (SFTP, API, or manual workflows) and troubleshoot connectivity or data consistency issues.
  • Maintain data security standards and participate in internal and external IT or compliance audits.
  • Develop dashboards and performance visualizations to enhance operational transparency for leadership and clients.

Experience (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT management, healthcare IT, or data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of hospital information systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar).
  • Proven experience managing user access and permissions within healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar data analytics tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, and security best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience in revenue cycle management, utilization management, or payer integration.
  • Familiarity with healthcare EDI transactions, API data connections, and workflow automation.
  • Experience leading or supporting a distributed IT or analytics team remotely.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
