Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and responsible IT Manager to oversee our company’s IT infrastructure, networking, and technical assets. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day IT operations, employee systems, security protocols, asset control, software installations, and workplace monitoring tools. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetworking & Infrastructure
- Manage and maintain office network, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Ensure stable and secure networking for all departments.
- Troubleshoot network issues and reduce downtime.
Systems & Software Management
- Install, configure, and update Windows operating systems.
- Install necessary software and tools required for development and operations.
- Ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and securely.
Asset Control
- Maintain an updated inventory of company hardware (laptops, PCs, routers, accessories).
- Assign, track, and manage employee IT assets.
- Perform regular audits on systems and hardware.
Employee Monitoring & Security
- Implement and manage employee monitoring tools as per company policy.
- Ensure adherence to IT security protocols.
- Monitor system usage and report issues when necessary.
Email & Account Management
- Create, assign, and manage company email accounts for all employees.
- Handle password resets, access issues, and email configuration.
- Manage access rights for internal platforms and tools.
Technical Support
- Provide day-to-day IT support to all departments.
- Resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Work closely with HR and management to support employee onboarding and offboarding.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Manager, IT Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, networking setups, routers, and LAN/WAN configuration.
- Experience with software installation, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Knowledge of IT security practices and employee monitoring tools.
- Ability to maintain accurate asset and equipment records.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with email hosting platforms (cPanel, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic server management or cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with antivirus and security tools.
