IT Manager

Turkon Line, which was established in 1997; It has been among the leading companies of the sector in maritime transport (container transport) for more than 25 years with its regular services in the USA, Mediterranean, Black Sea and Northern Europe regions. We are looking for an " IT MANAGER " to be assigned at our head office in  Altunizade / Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related fields,
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Information Technologies, including team or function leadership,
• Experience in IT end-user services, outsourcing, vendor managementand budget management
• Innovative, solution-oriented, and up to date with emerging technologies,
• Strong command of English,
• Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills,
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, System infrastructure , network/security infrastructures, Firewall, ERP systems, SAP S/4HANA, MS 365, ISO27001.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure architecture in alignment with operational integrity and budget requirements; collaborate closely with development teams,
• Manage all server, storage, backup, data center, and network infrastructure processes, including installation, maintenance, performance, capacity planning, security, and updates,
• Oversee the design, operation, and monitoring of disaster recovery systems, cloud platforms, and physical infrastructure/security components,
• Ensure proper analysis, installation, maintenance, and security management of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN infrastructures,
• Manage security systems including antivirus, content filtering, firewalls, intrusion prevention, and log management solutions in line with corporate security standards,
• Lead and enhance IT helpdesk operations (requests, incidents, breach notifications, end-user issues) according to performance targets,
• Conduct business continuity tests, report outcomes, and follow up on necessary action plans,
• Provide fast and high-quality support for IT applications and systems; coordinate with vendors when needed and ensure timely resolution,
• Monitor technological advancements, evaluate new tools and solutions, and drive the implementation of applicable technologies that will add value to the organization,
• Ensure implementation of IT policies, procedures, and information security standards.
