This position is responsible for several critical enterprise wide applications, including but not limited to ServiceNow, Workday, FI$CAL, Docusign, and more. Under broad administrative and policy direction of the Information Technology Manager II (ITM II), the incumbent of the Enterprise Services Section (ESS) is responsible for ensuring work efforts are planned, organized, coordinated, and managed to achieve optimum end-results for the Application Development Branch (ADB). The incumbent manages directly and/or through subordinate supervisors, a staff of Information Technology Specialists who code and support highly complex systems, provide quality assurance and testing services, and provide technical support for complex litigation support software. The incumbent manages and provides guidance at the highest technical level on large and highly sophisticated Department of Justice systems and modules. The incumbent is a highly skilled technology manager with knowledge of: strategic and tactical planning, federal and state information technology (IT) policies, and cost benefit analysis. In addition, the incumbent must have the ability to oversee subordinate supervisors; plan, schedule and oversee project tasks, dependencies and deliverables; and to prioritize and implement activities in accordance with the Department’s strategic IT plan. The incumbent assists with the Bureau’s overall management, budget, and organizational objectives.
