The IT Manager is responsible for leading the company’s technological direction in alignment with its strategic objectives and the specific needs of the contracting and construction sector, with a focus on supporting field operations and construction projects while ensuring the efficiency of digital systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Leads the strategic planning for information technology and participates in setting general policies and the company’s digital roadmap.

Analyzes business technical needs, keeps pace with technological developments, and adopts appropriate solutions for the construction environment and project sites.

Manages the financial planning for the IT department, including preparing the annual budget, forecasting needs, controlling costs, and monitoring both operating and capital expenditures.

Leads the IT team by setting goals, monitoring performance, developing competencies, and building an effective and secure work environment both in offices and on sites.

Oversees the implementation of technical projects in coordination with various departments such as Project Management, Procurement, Warehousing, and Data Centers.

Establishes and applies technical infrastructure standards at project sites to ensure service quality and business continuity.

Manages local and cloud networks, oversees technical support operations, problem resolution, and system testing.

Implements cybersecurity and information protection policies, ensuring compliance with privacy standards and data integrity.

Manages ERP systems, websites, email, and all operational systems, and oversees their development, updates, and user training.

Possesses advanced experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, leading process improvements and system integration with business needs.

Ensures business continuity through managing technical incidents, contingency plans, disaster recovery, backup, and data restoration.

Manages IT assets including servers, networks, software licenses, and communication systems.

Oversees communication systems (e.g., PABX) and call data analysis to ensure performance optimization and resolve operational issues.

Protects the company’s digital assets such as project data, CAD/BIM drawings, and contracts by applying best practices in security, backup, and operational continuity.

Work Experience:

8 to 15 years of experience in information technology, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role (IT Manager / IT Director).

Experience in:

Contracting, construction, or major project environments.

Managing multiple work sites.
-
Proven experience with ERP systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Technical Certifications:

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Consultant or equivalent.

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900); Azure Administrator (AZ-104) preferred.

ITIL 4 Foundation for IT service management.
-
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent in cybersecurity.

CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor (preferred for information security).

CCNA or equivalent in networking; CCNP preferred for advanced level.

PMP or equivalent in project management.
Technical & Professional Knowledge:

Experience with engineering project management systems such as BIM, CAD, and construction project management systems.

Knowledge of managing technical infrastructure at sites and connecting it to headquarters and data centers.

Good understanding of integrating technical systems with project operations, procurement, and warehousing.

High leadership skills in managing IT teams and developing competencies.

Ability to manage IT budgets (CapEx and OpEx) and control costs.

Skills in risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning (DRP/BCP).
