Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
IT Manager
to lead and manage IT application services for QIC Group client requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end application lifecycle, ensuring seamless operations, effective team leadership, and robust vendor management.
The role involves ensuring compliance with security standards, performance benchmarks, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines, while also driving digital transformation and leading strategic digital initiatives across the organization. This includes enabling automation, improving customer experience, and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance business efficiency.
The candidate will play a key role in identifying opportunities for processing digitization, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. This position requires a strong techno-functional background, strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to drive operational excellence, innovation, and digital maturity.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

QIC Group client requirements

Serve as the primary point of contact for QIC Group clients, addressing concerns and providing strategic IT solutions.
Application Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the complete
lifecycle of IT applications
, from planning and development to deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Ensure applications align with business goals and industry best practices.
Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of
account managers, business analysts, and support staff

Requirement Analysis & Business Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize application requirements aligned with business objectives.

Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, solution designs, and development roadmaps.

Act as a bridge between business and IT, effectively translating technical and functional aspects of systems into business-friendly language.

Enable business teams to maximize system utilization through guidance, support, and continuous engagement.
Vendor & Partner Management:

Collaborate with Anoud Tech’s product teams and external software vendors to ensure effective solution delivery and support.

Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal application performance, timely upgrades, and seamless system integration.

Partner with business stakeholders and external partners’ IT teams to align and synchronize systems for smooth and efficient business processing.
Budget & Financial Management:

Plan and manage the
budget
for application development, maintenance, and upgrades.

Optimize costs while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management:

Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure applications meet defined performance, reliability, and security standards.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across application development, deployment, and maintenance phases.

Ensure high availability and uptime of IT systems through proactive monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

Monitor application performance, proactively identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary optimizations.

Ensure high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency of IT applications.

Implement industry-standard tools and modern methodologies for performance monitoring, tuning, and continuous optimization.
Security & Compliance:

Ensure applications adhere to industry security standards, policies, and best practices.

Collaborate with security teams to identify, mitigate vulnerabilities, and safeguard data integrity.

Ensure the entire IT ecosystem (applications, infrastructure, and processes) complies with regulatory and audit requirements.
Digitalization & Transformation:

Drive digital transformation of business processes in line with latest industry trends and market best practices.

Ensure digital initiatives result in efficient, scalable, and customer-friendly applications.

Identify opportunities for process automation, digitization, and optimization to improve turnaround time and reduce manual effort.

Drive continuous innovation and improvement, ensuring systems evolve with changing business and customer needs.

Ensure alignment of digital initiatives with business strategy, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency goals.
IT Service Management:

Oversee Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes to minimize downtime and business impact.

Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and continuously improve service performance metrics.

Establish service monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track system health and user experience.

Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in
Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Technical Experience: 15 years

Strong knowledge of
Application Lifecycle Management
.

Experience managing
enterprise IT applications
and large-scale IT projects.

Expertise in
vendor and stakeholder management
.

Knowledge of
insurance domain
(Life, Medical, and General Insurance) is highly preferred.

Proficiency in
ITSM tools, ITIL frameworks, and application monitoring tools
